Very helpful when I was buying the car, but all downhill from there. Loads of hidden charges. They didn't have the spare key. Took 8 weeks and loads of phone calls and promises to get it. But the biggest thing by far is that 11 months after I bought the car, I have looked at the MOT certificate that they charged me the full price for, only to discover that the MOT date was 3 months earlier. In other words they charged me for a full 12 month MOT which was in fact only 9 months. Beware. Would NEVER use them again

Bought a Cooper S 6 months ago. Couldnt have had a better experience, handover team handle all the small details and drove away very happy and very quickly thanks to the cooper S :)

i bought a mini from this dealership,after less than 600 miles it broke down twice then needed a new engine.i asked for a refund as was advised by trading standards i was entitled to one and was refused by the manager j.m. .have not even had a courtesy call or an apology for what ive been put through.i dont want anyone to be put through what im going through with this dealership.please take your money elsewhere.

Horrendous service from Stevie!! Full of absolute sales pitch nonsense and told lies upon lies to sell a deal! When my husband challenged his lies and terrible sales attitude he was met with an ignorant response " you know how it is mate we've got targets to meet! " my husband told him he would not be interested in any deals with him or peter vardy due to his lack of respect for the customer. He asked for his deposit to be refunded to which he was told would take 5 days and 4 weeks later Stevie still has not processed this refund so not it has been taken further to the manager and accounts team. Absolute joke of a place!!

I went in to peter vardy Vauxhall in Edinburgh to buy my first car. I was greeted by a friendly salesman, johnathon and he showed me around. The new corsa excite was advertised at £33.99 a week no deposit 5 years 0% which I found affordable. My boyfriend also works for a Vauxhall partner so I was told is receive £1000 discount on the car. So we went into his office and found out prices. The price then went up to £210 a month. I informed him that I didn't think we could afford that as our budget was £200 with car+insurance (being female and a new dm driver and 20 years old insurance is expensive) so he said I could put the £100 deposit down then and call back if I couldn't afford it and he would cancel no problem. So I went home and tried to scrape our money together because I really liked the car. However I just couldn't afford it so I called him asap the next morning and was told he was in a meeting and would call me right away once he can. 2 hours later, nothing so I called back and again told he was with a customer and would call me back. Throughout that day I called 22 times to get a hold of him to finally get through and be told he had ordered the car and I has been accepted for finance (even though I hadn't signed any finance forms) so I wouldn't get my deposit back. Now I am a young mum and £100 is a lot of money to me, so I got upset by his false claims and I had been trying all morning to get a hold of him. He offered to pay my insurance for a year and kept pushing for me to take the new car. I've never felt so pushed into something. I wouldn't even buy off them now if they offered to pay my insurance for life. I finally got put through to a manager and he agreed to send me my deposit back through cheque. Still waiting though (only been 5 days) let's hope it arrives as I really can't be fussed for more arguing. Avoid at all costs. Wish I had just kept my hands in my pocket and went elsewhere.
