DISGUSTING ATTITUDE! (20-Aug)
have been visiting this place for the last 10 years when calling through the county. Bigged it up all day to our friends... Pulled up 15 mins away to place our order and collect, couldn't get the website to work and phone line was down. Decided to just travel to them and order in person.
When I arrived (wearing a mask and standing in the doorway) I got shouted at and told to go away to order delivery, I tried explaining that we don't have an address locally and we are passing through they shouted "well that's tough then, go to Dominoes." Absolutely baffled, I asked "I don't understand, why can I not set the address here and collect?" She shouted "havey you not heard of Covid?" I respectfully replied "yes but why is it an issue to collect if you put the boxes outside the door? It saves driving" And I just got shouted at more "it's called non-contact...my husband had diabetes..."
She then slammed the door on me.
Totally ridiculous situation, we specifically made an exceptional effort to give them our business, despite a dodgy website and no phone line, and all we got was verbal abuse and totally disrespected. We actually we would have saved them more unnecessary contact and capital overheads.
After their behaviour and attitude, I will never go here again.
