Purchased a £60 jumper wore it 3 times washed as stated on instructions (Hand Wash dry Flat ) As with most knitwear . Shrunk took it back into store explained what had happened .Sales advisor I found very rude , and told me they couldn't exchange or do anything (My word against there's ) So I told her I wanted to take this further ,asked if they would send it off to quality control. Obviously thinking they will know I was telling the truth . They had my jumper for six months & would still have it if I hadn't gone back to the store . (When I visited again 6 mths later ) No phone call or communication from them in this time period . To only be told no exchange as its how you've washed it . So very disappointed as £60 is not cheap . I've washed woolen garments over past 30 years from : R**** L***** , S**** I***** & J***** - With no problems of shrinkage or anything else for that matter . Washed & washed time & time again with pieces as old as 2 years before going to charity still in wearable condition . Mrs K . Thompson
