Do not use this retailer! 28/06/2015 by Gmarley One star as it will not allow me to write a review with zero! I have never dealt with a more unhelpful, unprofessional, uncaring shower in my life. Have you never heard of customer care? I bought a chair sight unseen via the telephone and paid for delivery via an independent courier service. When it was delivered it was badly damaged, which was not done in transit. When I contacted the Basildon store, I was informed that they had a record on their system stating that it was indeed damaged stock. I was never informed of this damage and was sold the chair as a display item being sold off. I asked for some recompense, suggesting a leather repair kit, which was refused. They did call me after numerous attempts by telephone (they obviously do not want to communicate with customers) but only after I complained to their head office. The offer to refund came at my expense as I had to pay again for return delivery to their premises. I would have been £200 out of pocket for them providing an item which is not of acceptable condition/standard. All in all a very unsavoury experience. Take heed all, you have been warned. Deal with this store at your peril!
