I'm a Scouser living in Glasgow, been up here 40 years (my kids are Glaswegians born an bred) I've been in good places and bad places, from lands end to Inverness, but I can count on my fingers (and 1 toe) the number of times I can turn and say, go out of your way to go to this store/shop/businesses.

Cumberland Lighting (its in Cumberland St just off Bridge St) get your light fittings, bulbs and any other type of lighting, indoor, out door ,old fashioned 100w bayonet types right up to the latest LED`s
Absolutely brilliant service, I've been in there twice. I thought the first visit was a one off, it wasn't, the only thing they could do to make your visit even better, would be to pay for your purchases and the prices are that cheap in comparison to other places, that you can't believe the difference.
It sounds too good to be true, wrong it is as good as that, (they aren't paying me to write this ). I am one of the meanest moaniest awkward old gits that you are likely to meet and I am convinced that this is one of the best businesses in Glasgow, it looks like any other industrial unit from the outside, inside its like an Aladdin's bloomin cave of lighting and as much expert and/or down to earth help as you need.
