The interface with customers is extremely
frustrating. initially the sales 'pitch' was
quite pushy, needing me to slow down the
salesman whilst considering all the elements
needed to be resolved prior to going ahead.
The sale was agreed and appointment for
measuring arranged.
In the course of the sale, the date for
fitting was indeterminate as some decorating
was necessary prior to fitting. No problem.
Carpetright would contact me when the carpet
was available to arrange fitting. No contact
up to 15 October. Prior to this, most
attempts to contact the salesman were
impossible, phone contact being arbitrarily
cut off without opportunity to speak.
Extremely frustrating.
On the attempt to have a meaningful
conversation today - 15 Oct - got through
to the salesman regarding arrangement for
fitting date but then got cut off again on
being transferred to 'the office' to arrange
a date. Unable to make contact subsequently.
Website unable to help with fixing an
appointment for fitting.
