OADBY & WIGSTON WALK-IN MEDICAL CENTRE - OADBY, LE

Attended walk in centre on Saturday 25th Jan after ringing 111 and was given an appointment to see the Doctor.
Excellent treatment, Doctor was fantastic, very thorough, and an very caring. Great service, thank you.

I phoned first to make an appointment. I had to wait about 15 minutes, but the doctor was nice and took the time to give me information I needed regarding on other matters that were bothering me.

I took my daughter to this so called "walk in" centre only to be told that she needed an appointment. The procedure for using this centre needs to be clearly stated on the website. It's of no use whatsoever to let sick people travel to the centre when they cannot be seen - I wonder how many other sick people have travelled to this centre only to be turned away. I must express my gratitude to firstly Katie from 111 who showed me absolute great care, patience and attentiveness and arranging an emergency appointment at Oadby Centre Surgery understanding my distress I was in this evening.May I in particular express the fantastic treatment and professionalism shown to me this evening by Dr Pacino, who was most pleasant putting me at ease and gave me a thorough examination understanding my problems in getting an appointment at my own Surgery. I cannot thank this lady enough for one working out of hours and secondly understanding how difficult it is for someone who has worked through the past year nonstop but being unable to get a sensible understanding and response from my own Doctors Surgery when in real need.
