This achievement was possible by company
policies that support Purse Seine fishing
with FADS. Fishing for vulnerable Tuna
Species such as Yellowfin and Bigeye Tuna.
Misleading statements on their Tuna Labels
and not stating which species of Tuna species
are in their tinned tuna. They must be mighty
proud at the Princes Factory if they believe
that protecting the marine environment &
marine life involves killing Sharks,Turtles
and an array of other species caught in their
nets.
It must be a real inconvenience for their
ships to catch Sharks as by- catch, that's
unless they sell the fins to the very
lucrative Shark Fin Soup Industry.
