Having been recommended to take my car to this "RAC Approved Garage" I was mortified when I paid £170 for a full service on my vehicle only to have to take it elsewhere to get the basic problem fixed. As someone who places full trust in trained (!) Mechanics I now realise that their diagnosis is based on the information given by the customer. Never in a million years did I think that the problem would be fixed purely on my suggestion and NOT by being assessed on the information provided by me. Maybe they're a bit misogynistic but think twice before taking your "beast"to them. I'm £170 out of pocket but it was worth it t as I now have a brilliant mechanic - at a third of the price. Ladies, sadly make sure you're accompanied by a man or a lady who knows about cars!
