FRANKIE & BENNY'S - BIRMINGHAM, WE

Thank you to the guys today. We arrived all 16 of us with no booking af they took it in their stride.

We had a family meal on saturday night 12th July 2014. We not been there for a long time, it was good then. Today sadly the food was bland. We ordered 4 different meals. My kids could not finish their's so I had there left overs. So I sampled 3 out of the 4 dishes. The food was just bland. Even the mustard in the bottle was bland. and tasteless. The chicken pieces in one of the meals had obviously not been cooked properly and were hard. YES the customer service was good, my daughter was offered a balloon, but the food should be great, only it was not. My girls went to the toilet and IT STUNK, so obviously the hourly check on toilets had not happened. I went to the gents to wash my hands and I noticed a sign on the toilet seat in the sole toilet cubicle saying, "out of order, sorry for the inconvenience" I did open the door to the disabled toilet, just to check, that seemed ok. The drinks were cold and my daughters enjoyed them. The bill came it was 50quid + , we paid by card, and NO we left no tip. We will never go there again. Just to add that I used to work in a 4star deluxe business hotel in the past, 242 rooms, so I know how customer service should be done, and I also know about checking toilets, and I know how quality food should be cooked and served. If I was the mystery guest then you would have just failed, badly.

p.s. the kids wanted something else a few hours later so we had 2 small takeaway pizzas, cost 5 quid 10% of what we paid you, and guess what, they were great, and we will go there again, because of the taste, food should taste good, whatever the price.
