STARTERMOTOR ALTERNATOR CENTRE - COVENTRY, WE

Right, This is what happened to me. So you can read up and decide for yourself whether to choose them or not.

My car's ('04 Civic) need attention to A/C compressor due to noise from the clutch. Took it to these guys as i heard good things from local garages in Coventry.

They had a look and quoted me £410+ Vat which was a fair price compared to dealer. I agreed, dropped the car.
Got a call from them saying that my whole A/c system needed flushing (another £300+VAT). i am a family man and got commitments as you can imagine. I went down to see the car and looked at the pump and the oil from the compressor which looked fine and didn't need replacing (i am an Automotive engineer). I denied to carry over the extra work, then they say they can't give the warranty on the compressor!!

So didn't want to carry out the work and asked if they can put my old pump back in and i will pay just the labour charge (for wasting my time and with out my car fro work.) So they needed handling fees now which was £150+VAT..!!

So to cut the long story short i was forced to pay £410 with out any warranty for the work done..
Personally i will stay away from them..in future and i am spreading the word to the benefit of other people. Hope you take the correct decision.
