ASDA DARLASTON SUPERSTORE - DARLASTON, WE

On August the 19th 2020 at 12.30 PM, i went to customers service trying to find out about an item which i knew they have it for sale. I also know that Asda offers a "click and collect service" which is just what i was trying to do. When i explained to the lady at customer service what i was looking for and asked if she could search on their system where i could find the item and what store, and if i could set up a "click and collect" for which i would have paid upfront, i was given straight answers and without a second thought that it could not be done, with excuses such as corona virus, or she couldn't get on the system, or she wasn't allowed to, the internet, and bla bla bla. Pretty disappointed i said to her and i quote " this is customer service isn't it? But you're not been very helpfull. To which she replied to me, Don't you start! Quiete rudely as well. I believe my request as a paying customer of a frequent weekly substantial spend, to get some service in wanting to spend some money there, was very legitimate, and instead of getting some sevice i was rudely dismissed. I guess from now on i will have to reconsider where i spend and who i give my money to. Unless Asda places the righ kind of people at C.S. with the right knowledge and the right attitude who do not shout at customers.

The standard of customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Self check out staff need training in people skills - very rude and arrogant especially the young girls who think they own the store making things up as they go along and tutting when they have to do work. Their attitudes and customer service skills needs to be looked at especially if they want to work in customer services. Reconsider where you spend as the right kind of people aren't placed in the job. They are providing a service to the customer not the other way around.

Check your receipt. Offers on the shelves are not always passed on at the til and full price is charged. This has happened to me several times. I will not use this store again.

Went to ASDA Darlaston today to do weekly shop spent
£150 when I got home and checked my receipt I found
I had been charged twice for a pack of water £1 59 and
I bought 3 bottles of Bardinet Brandy the shelf ticket said was £16 and I have been charged £19 I have tried to contact the store by telephone to complain but they say they are too busy to answer calls and cut you off what a way to treat customers, but then we do not have to shop there do we
