Had reservations about getting a kitchen from Howden's how wrong was i, they were so helpful in helping me design my kitchen, i changed the design about 4 times, the handles twice, the sink twice, i changed 2 cupboards at the last minute cause i wanted glass doors. The worktop i was not sure about and they didnt mind me going in to double check that i had selected the right worktop, in doing so was asked if i would like a bacon sandwich cup of tea or coffe, hows that, you dont get that at m*****. No pressure was put on me to order. There electrical equipment i was not too sure as the brand i had not heard of but went with it as i wanted all the same electrical appliances and have had no trouble, the only thing is the oven is not self cleaning but i can live with that. The finishing touches could of been better but that was not down to Howdens. Overall Howdens have been great and my kitchen looks fab, everything in it is what i wanted, where i wanted it and how i wanted it.
I cannot praise the quality of my Tewkesbury kitchen units enough - they really are lovely. However I would highly recommend that you do not purchase Lamona electrical goods which I understand is a make produced for Howdens. My kitchen is not yet three years old and I have already replaced the washing machine and am awaiting delivery of a dish washer. The repair service is very poor and slow and to use a local repair service you have to wait for ages for new parts. All in all a depressingly poor experience.
